WHY DO YOU OR DON’T YOU VOLUNTEER?
Volunteering Australia needs to know what affects volunteers’ ability to volunteer.
The National Survey invites views and experiences from volunteers, managers of
volunteers, organisations that involve volunteers, and businesses with employee
volunteering programs. The feedback received helps keep us, the sector, and
government, up to date with known and emerging issues that impact volunteers and
volunteering in Australia.

The St John Australian Youth Council (AYC) is committed to giving the young people of St John Ambulance Australia a voice on topics that impact on the past, present and future of the organisation.

One of the four key themes from the St John AYC in 2009 is the importance of flexible volunteering opportunities in the community. St John is focused on providing these opportunities to further the great work of its volunteers and continue to help people in sickness, distress, suffering and danger through community services and the provision of first aid.
